The story started from Tuesday 1/15, with car delivered by All American Transport on 1/24.
Our family own an old 98 MB since brand new, car was kept in great condition by my sister the past few years. Since she has no need to this old car she decide to let me take it over.
After realizing there are so many brokers to choose with, I decided to take my time to look over all the reviews with all those responses that I received, it sure did took me bit time to go through the long email list. At the end, I was on the edge to pick Josh at All American Transport or Laki at Nationwide Transport Services, and since I know that I'm not in any rush to get this car over I don't mind how much time it will take to get this vehicle over to TX.
During the whole time, Josh and Laki both offer me $700 for the shipping, then on 1/21 Monday morning Laki started to send me emails saying that he has a driver for me, then he called and stating the driver can pick up on 1/24 and deliver on 1/27 and he was trying to rush me into shipping with his company, then when I ask him will total be $700 as he quoted, he says the driver is demanding for $795 for this trip, I was like??? you quoted me a price and now you want to rush me into it with $95 in addition??
During the same time Josh was also in contact with me, but he never mentioned if he has a driver yet, and I really didn't mind when will they have a driver for me, as long as the price is confirmed and car gets deliver on time without any damages. So I triple confirmed with Josh if they are sure about $700 for the delivery service, and he indicates if I sign the contract with them, they will be sure to perform their side of work to get me a transporter for $700, so on that same 1/21 Monday I agreed and signed contract with Josh, by Tuesday he already located a driver and it's also pickup on 1/24 and deliver on 1/27 for $700.
The driver contacted my sister and arranged the best time for the pickup, then during the trip over to us, he also contacted me and gave me the time frame of arrival to my house.
** only down thing(just minor) I didn't like was the driver was driving our car with grease over his hand, so everywhere he had touched was all covered with grease, so I suggest anyone who wants to ship your vehicle, make sure to have baby wipe when you are receiving your vehicle, so you can clean all the surfaces so your hands won't get all greased up.
